Looks like the FairTax initiative is pretty...Chad,<br /><br />Looks like the FairTax initiative is pretty much a wrapper for increased sales tax (in lieu of income tax). That doesn't bode well for the poor people who may be struggling to pay their day-to-day life support. The biggest beneficiary out of this FairTax initiative may very well be the richest people (e.g. Bill Gates) who doesn't have to buy much so no need to worry about sales tax.William N. N.
